When you enters Rodeo Grill, You will notice that the room is spacious, enough to seat for at least 30-40 people i think. They maximize the space without overcrowding. The interior of the restaurant  and the music match the concept. It gives you the sense of what to expect. And perfect for the Family and Barkada. 

The staff is probably the best staff in any place. They were very accommodating and you don't need to say anything to have them get what you needed and when one enters Rodeo Grill, Rodeo Cowboys are instantly on hand, ready to serve the dinners.

Rodeo Grill is tops when it comes to barbecue and sizzlers at prices that are so affordable. Most of their dishes they serve are either grilled or sizzling, but they also have for sharing items such as soup and vegetables. Also, each menu item refers to the wild west era like Cowboys, Sheriffs and Pistols.

Their menu is as interesting as their humor .. They got Cowboy meals like 2pcs Bbq meals Called Porky Pistols @ P99, Pancho Belly Pork @ P109, Lonestar Fish in Tartar Sauce @ P149 and their short Rib Deputy Shorty @ P179

They got some high end sizzlers as well as Geronimo's Pochero @ P199, the huge Sheriff Jake Premium cut @ P329, Wyoming Minty chops @ P219 and of course best sellers like Texas Sizzling Chicken which is crazy cruncy and juicy engulfed by rich and Spicy gravy. Sgt. Pepper is likewise a masterpiece. Tender pork steak seasoned with cayenne and black pepper. They also got some nice sides such Cactus Kang-kong and Saddle Chicken Soup.

They serve unlimited rice on their meals but this doesn't  have any drinks on it. Their foods were great, very tender and tasty. So if we will take notes of the good things.

As a resident who lives just 30 minutes away, I was very excited to try their  menus as they promise to offer a unique dining experience which then again it more than satisfy me aside from the place which it covered an open air foodstrip which you can enjoy the beauty of the sorroundings (Mactan Newtown).

With a 350-seating capacity, visitors can enjoy delicious grilled item from homegrown Cebuano dining concepts and many more, were in one of the stalls i have tried is the Choobi-Choobi specializes on seafood. i tried their shrimps and mussels which i prefer tho must try  especially when you are a fan of seafood dishes  because it really satisfy you.

Experienced on how to make the most of the migration season with a well-trip to Olango.

Olango Island boasts of 920-hectare sanctuary of migratory birds wildlife sanctuary supporting the largest concentration of migratory birds seen so far in the Philippines and Marine Sanctuary which is home to many tropical fishes and corals.

Located in the southernmost part of Olango is San Vicente, where you can enjoy swimming, feeding and observing marine life in their natural habitat. Snorkeling around the marine sanctuary, we spotted some moorish idol, banner fish, clownfish, damsel fish, angel fish, giant clams or takubo and many more.

The island has some of the extensive mangrove forests in the Cebu province and is endowed with rich coral reefs, expansive coralline sandflats, and huge seagrass beds. In addition, the flat island is sheltered from trade winds and monsoons. 

How to get to San Vicente Marine Sanctuary? You can hire a boat for island hopping in Mactan. Boat rental depends on your itinerary. One popular hopping itinerary is Pandanon Island Bohol and San Vicente Olango Marine Sanctuary. Boat rental with that itinerary would cost around 4,000php (boat can accommodate up to 30 people). Boat rental does not include entrance fees to Pandanon Island (fee: 150php per person) and San Vicente Marine Sanctuary Environmental fee (50php).

 Shalala resort is a very small property which is situated on the island of Olango, on the edge of lagoon and inlet and has a small range of air conditioned and non-air conditioned in ehich to stay. The beach is very shallow, parents could have a great time to relax without the pressure of being constant lifeguard and they could just leave their kids to play among themselves.

The four cottages cost 200Php each and if one chooses to stay overnight, there are two rooms with toilet and bath facilities. What's wonderful is that there are no extra charges for excess persons, so you can fit in as many people in the room. 

There's also a large open ground where you can do beach sports like volleyball, badminton and frisbee. It would be ideal for team building exercises. A number of rentable kayaks are available for only 100Php, unlimited time usage. 

To get to Olango, you could board a ferry from a wharf just beside Hilton resort and spa at Punta Engano. It would only cost 15Php for the ticket and 1Php for terminal fee. If you want a much cheaper way you can go to another wharf just beside Portofino beach resort where a 10Php ride awaits you. The crossing from the wharf to Olango island was quite fast, roughly15-20 minutes.Once you set foot on the island, a number of tricycles are there for your convenience. 

There's a store within the resort for basic needs, so you don't have to carry heavy stuffs on the trip.

Feeling hot this weekend?

There is no place better to hang out with family and friends to unwind than a spring resort! Mt. Uragay Spring, otherwise known as The Uruguay Spring Resort, an oasis located in the quiet and beautiful town of Carmen, Cebu is a perfect spot this weekend! Instead of going to the beach for the entire day where the sun's heat sting and burn, try the spring's fresh cold water for a change!

Mt. Uragay Mountain Spring Resort is located in Barangay Corte, Carmen, Cebu. 

Based on our research, the spring has been the source of the bottled water of nature's spring water, until the company acquired a new spring source of their own. This a private resort, has 2 pools, for kids and for adults. The pools are fed by a flowing water from a spring or "tubod" so obviously the water is expected to be intensely fresh and cold as well. There is no restaurant in the resort yet, but you can bring foods as many as you like! For there is no corkage fee! Isn't it great? Yes, it is and each cottage costs only for Php 300.00 and Php 50.00 for the entrance fee. If planning to stay over the night, their fee is Php 1,500.00 for 2 persons only.

Carmen is located in the northern part of Cebu and approximately 1.5 hours travel from Cebu City. If you have your own vehicle, you can travel by the main road from Cebu City passing by Mandaue City-Consolacion-Liloan-Compostela-Danao City and finally Carmen. Uragay is just few meters away from Carmen Public market. Just watch out for the sign beside the road, pointing the direction of Uragay. Reaching Uragay Mountain Spring Resort is easy and enjoyable. From the main road, you will have to travel for 10-15 minutes to reach the resort. On the way, you will pass by banana plantations, orchid garden of Mlhuiller, Mlhuiller farm, poultry farms and mountain views of Carmen. The roads are asphalted, but be careful in the curves and in going down especially id it's raining.
