Maravilla Beach

A nice getaway adventure far out from the busy city would be best compared to going to clubs, or act like you are having dinner with friends when you are actually just staring at your phone the whole time.An experience can never be bought the same way how you can buy an overpriced gadget. A perfect vacation is remarkable and will always leave a spot on your mind or heart.

There are countless white sand beaches and more undiscovered tourist spots laying on the land of Cebu. Most people would directly go to well organized places like Bantayan or Camotes and on the South side like Santander or Argao. These places that I have mentioned are quite familiar to most people already, but little do they know that there are other towns with breathtaking spots waiting to be seen. The city that I have been trying to tell you since the start of this article is, the city of Tabuelan. It is a small town composed of twelve barangays. As for me, the barangay that has the most beautiful white sand beach is Maravilla.

If you are for a placid getaway place without having to spend too much for some fancy accommodations, then welcome to Maravilla !

The last summer we went there, we brought with us a tent, but if don't have a tent, don't worry, they have cottages for rent and some air-conditioned rooms. For you planning to visit this place, but don't have a direct contact with a local living there, I'd suggest you go straight to their barangay hall. You will be assisted there.

The peace and quite place gave me some sense of personal space. And of course the sand- yes, the sand ! There are only a few powdery beaches in Cebu where one can lie down and roll over and over without scratching the elbows or the knees for the sharp stones. And one step into the waters, there are no sea urchins and seaweeds to tackle.

Really such a lovely place, I hope that the local people see the value of what they have and unite to preserve it.

A trip to Tabuelan is really something to try. For me, my second time is difinitely not the last. I just can't seem to stop myself from going back-again and again.
